It is that time of the
year again. The Holiday Season is upon us!
As I dusted off the
decorations, I reflected upon the fact that each year there are new and
faster ways of decorating. Christmas Trees with lights on that pop up like
umbrellas. Fiber optic Christmas Trees change colors. A Snowman and
Snowwoman dancing to a holiday tune, or are they shivering from the artic
wind? Good Ole St. Nick shaking his bootie!
As I put these
decorations back in the storage boxes, I decided to be a bit creative, found
the joy in what surrounds me and created a Sewer’s Wreath. The Wreath is such
a wonderful holiday symbol that is so traditional. Tomato Pin Cushions make
great unbreakable bulbs! Ribbons and Trims add such depth and beauty.
Spools of Thread are not just for sewing. Stringing spools together makes
fun garland. Clothes Pins, remember those, can add a bit more fun and color
with a very easy application! Add all the extra trims, stuffing your sewing
drawers, to create more texture.
What a fun way to
represent yourself, traditionally.
The Holiday Season brings
together family, old friends, and great memories of the past.
Find your joy, create,
and share it! My Best Wishes to all of you! Have a Joyful Holiday!
Thank you for your
loyalty, patience, and understanding while we continue to create this seeming
never-ending task called our website.
